A.P.&M. BV has already been working since 1993 in the East European countries like Belarus, Ukraine and Lithuania. Initially at Management courses, later in Consultancy in the European Union organized by TACIS Projects. In this phase successful cooperation between firms and scientific institutes was established. Outsourcing by Western firms was realized.

Through intensive contacts with universities and the National Academies of Science (Central Research Institutes of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine) a number of original inventions have become known. Also cooperation here was realised, ranging from buying ideas till joint development and productions.

A special field is the development of software; most of the East European organizations with IT activities have at least a virtual software factory. Via our coordination most of software/IT problems can be solved. Smaller problems with limited complexity are processed via the Internet. Big complex tasks most of the times have to be realized at the (Western) spot. Abt. 80 young Belarusian and Ukrainian ICT-engineers were, and are working in the Netherlands and Belgium via our mediation. In the in between area, medium size tasks we have MTD’s and PhD’s from a.o. Technical University Eindhoven who analyse and specify inside the Western organizations and transform the specifications to the East to be outsourced subtasks. The implementation on its turn is realized by the MTD’s inside the Western organizations.
